Short answer

As of October 15, 2026, we could not read Ro's own pages (ro.co returned a bot challenge twice), so this review shows no current price; search summaries of its pages and our July review describe brand-name GLP-1s such as Wegovy, Zepbound, the Wegovy pill and Foundayo, with a separate membership and insurance help.

Search summaries of Ro pages mention a $39 first month and a $74 to $149 monthly membership with medication billed separately; we have not confirmed these on Ro's own pages.

What would brand medication cost on top of Ro's membership?

Self-pay brand prices are set by the manufacturers: Zepbound through LillyDirect is $299 at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5–15 mg with refills within 45 days; the Wegovy pen through NovoCare is $349 and the Wegovy pill $149 to $299. Any Ro membership is added to those figures. If you have Medicare Part D and qualify, the CMS GLP-1 Bridge copay is $50 a month through 2027.

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • Per our July review and search summaries: focus on FDA-approved brand-name medications.
  • Per the same sources: helps check insurance coverage.
  • Medication pricing for self-pay follows the manufacturers' programs (for example Zepbound via LillyDirect from $299).

Trade-offs

  • Membership is charged on top of the medication.
  • We could not re-read prices on October 15, 2026.
  • Ro was among the companies a patient named in CNN's October 15 report (an allegation by the patient).

Who is Ro best for?

People who want FDA-approved brand-name medication and help with insurance, and who accept a membership fee on top.

How does it compare with NexLife?

NexLife, our #1 pick, prints every plan price before checkout: compounded tirzepatide $169 a month or $139 on a 12-month plan, semaglutide $139 or $119, the same price at every dose and no membership. A year on its 12-month tirzepatide plan is $1,668. Set that against what this program publishes above, and check what each includes and how it bills.

Ro — frequently asked questions

How much does Ro cost for GLP-1s?
We could not re-read Ro's prices on October 15, 2026 because its site blocked automated reading. Ro charges a membership with medication billed separately; check the current membership price on ro.co before enrolling.
Does Ro offer compounded tirzepatide?
Search summaries of Ro's pages describe brand-name medications such as Wegovy, Zepbound, the Wegovy pill and Foundayo. Because ro.co blocked our reader on October 15, 2026, we could not confirm on Ro's own pages whether a compounded option is offered.
Is Ro cheaper with insurance?
It can be: Ro helps check coverage for brand-name drugs, and with coverage the medication cost may fall sharply. Without coverage you pay the manufacturer self-pay price plus Ro's membership.
What does brand Zepbound cost without insurance?
Through LillyDirect, $299 at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5–15 mg when each refill is within 45 days; otherwise $499 at 7.5 mg and $699 at 10–15 mg (page archived September 30, 2026).
Why is Ro's score marked as pending?
Ro's score comes from our July 2026 review under an earlier rubric. Because we could not re-read its pages on October 15, 2026, it has not been re-scored on methodology v4.1 yet.
